A Piece of Cleveland Web site launch
thunder::tech recently launched the Web site of A Piece Of Cleveland (APOC). APOC designs and constructs furniture using materials extracted from underused Cleveland buildings. Each product comes with a re-birth certificate detailing the history of the material source. thunder::tech’s new conference table (pictured) was recently installed by APOC.

thunder::tech’s growing staff earned the company the rank of fourth largest marketing firm in Cleveland by Crain’s Cleveland Business. thunder::tech's videos for GCP introduce new strategic plan

The Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP), one of the nation’s largest chambers of commerce, worked with thunder::tech to produce a series of eight videos to introduce sections of their innovative new strategic plan to board members and contributors.


Each video highlights GCP achievements and future plans in the areas of advocacy, economic inclusion, urban redevelopment, small business success and job creation.


The videos will be shown during their 2008 Annual Meeting on Wednesday, March 5, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Public Auditorium, Cleveland Convention Center, 500 Lakeside Ave.

thunder::tech is providing web development and design services in Texas. Dallas-based Pendant Health, LLC has received an extensive database system that will include e-commerce capabilities for the Web site www.pendanthealth.com. thunder::tech’s system will allow the company to maintain dental records, health records and pricing. Pendant Health offers reduced dental fees for patients and small business on dental services including cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics and gives access to discounts at local health-related retailers. thunder::tech also provided identity and branding services, creating the name, logo and visual standards for the company.

Gladiators TV spot
Cleveland’s newest sports franchise, the Arena Football League’s Cleveland Gladiators chose thunder::tech for post-production work on their recently launched television advertising campaign. Newhomestar, a Chicago-based sales and marketing company for home builders, will receive a web site, brand messaging and public relations support. Developer Scott Garson has requested branding and web services for redevelopment of the Victory Building, a 90-year-old office space, into 102 residential lofts.

Two thunder::tech web developers, recently passed Google’s Advertising Professional Exam, giving them recognition as qualified Google AdWords individuals. Design and web application tool for John Carroll University

thunder::tech has recently completed design and web work for John Carroll University’s Center for Service and Social Action, the Center for Career Services and the Entrepreneurs Association.


thunder::tech has developed a new web application for administrators at John Carroll University’s Center for Service and Social Action, to allow the department to create service activity records. The office connects students and staff to community service opportunities. The application includes a registration portal and will allow faculty and staff to view students’ application of service hours to their courses.


thunder::tech’s design team produced a brochure for the Center of Career Services to be used at career fairs, highlighting why John Carroll University students are exceptional candidates to hire. Our designers also created the Entrepreneurs Association Web site and a “Year In Review” report, highlighting membership growth and communication opportunities to build relationships between members, businesses and the community.

Three leading Cleveland organizations have chosen thunder::tech for their marketing needs.

thunder::tech will work with Providence House, a non-profit crisis nursery, to redevelop their Web site and other branded materials in preparation for a capital campaign to expand the nursery’s facilities.


Downtown Cleveland Alliance (DCA), a non-profit development corporation serving the Downtown district has chosen thunder::tech to produce a comprehensive media kit and assist the DCA with social media marketing, including the creation of a blog, an online forum and podcasts.


thunder::tech will also be designing a new logo and Web site for The Warehouse District, Cleveland’s first neighborhood and Downtown Cleveland’s oldest commercial center. The project coincides with plans for continued residential and commercial development in Cleveland’s entertainment hot spot.

thunder::tech client, MidTown Cleveland, Inc., celebrated their 25th anniversary on September 27 with a block party at the Agora Theater. A group of area community development corporations has selected thunder::tech to develop a marketing brand for the nearby AsiaTown community. The nonprofits, including MidTown Cleveland, Inc., St Clair Superior Development Corporation and The Quadrangle Development Corporation, are combining to develop a brand identity, a Web site and a master plan for the near eastside Cleveland neighborhood in the 30s blocks from Payne to St. Clair avenues.
