Our scouts are always out looking for great talent to join our softball team. In order to be eligible, you must also be a thunder::tech employee. Though they may not be listed, we are always seeking stellar additions to the following departments: design, development, publicity, advertising, account management and operations. If you feel you’ve got what it takes to hang with us, and have the disposition to tolerate extreme doses of sarcasm, give us a shout.

Graphic Design Internships::

Our design department has a hand in almost every aspect of the marketing process. Additions to our team must have strong conceptual skills and avoid cliche like the plague. Production skills should be meticulous, with close attention to detail. If your unfamiliar with the art of leading and kerning, don't know the difference between an en-dash and an em-dash, or have ever used Comic Sans as your primary font, you need not apply.

You will be integral in the concept, design and production of logos and identity systems, websites, brochures, print ads, packaging, Flash campaigns, billboards; you name it, you'll be asked to at least try it.

Everyone at thunder::tech has a certain degree of creativity, and our design team doesn't just push the envelope, it beats it to a pulp. We are looking for talented graphic designers seeking spring and summer internship positions. Individuals should be knowledgeable in the Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Macromedia Studio (particularly Flash and Fireworks) and have experience in both web and print design. Interest in the fine arts, illustration and photography is also admirable. Most important, is the desire to keep learning.

Flash/Interactive Developers::

We are expanding our interactive department and are looking for individuals with experience in flash development. Our Flash developers interact with our design and data teams and work with web development, audio, video and gaming. We are looking for individuals to jump in a stretch the boundaries of Flash. Interested individuals should be experienced and familiar with Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, XML, HTML, CSS, Action Scripting and Javascript. As these individuals may be working directly with clients, good communication and customer service skills are a must as well. Though not required, solid air hockey skills are definitely a plus. Marketing Account Managers/Coordinators::

We are looking for committed and proactive individuals to build and manage lasting client relationships. Persons in this position will be the primary contact for client accounts, assess the needs of our clients and help develop plans for achieving sales and marketing goals. Individuals will work with other departments to provide input for various projects. They will also work to ensure that the thunder::tech team (data, design and publicity) are on track with our projects. As relationships with our clients grow, Marketing Account Managers may also need to present additional services that we offer to our clients.

Individuals interested in this position should possess good interpersonal communication skills and have experience in customer service and client relations. Account Managers will often oversee several accounts at once; therefore we are looking for someone with a good sense of organization and time management. Because Account Managers are very involved in the brainstorming and troubleshooting processes, creativity and problem solving are key assets we are looking for. Web Developer/Programmer::

We are looking for individuals interested in the data side of the web. Application developers, database architects, search engine specialists and programmers are wanted for our growing agency. We are minimally looking for individuals with ASP/ASP.NET and Object Oriented Programming experience and PHP experience is an added bonus. A grasp of Dreamweaver is also recommended along with a willingness to learn other programs.

Duties for this position include::

-development of web applications and dynamic web sites
-design and management of databases
-assessment of current and potential projects from a technical point of view and provide input for cost and time estimates
-providing updates on the status of projects for both clients and management
-work in conjunction with various departments for the development of projects
-staying updated on current technological developments for potential use in the workplace
