A Crazy, Thunderous Summer

    Summers are supposed to be a bit laid back, but this year in marketing land, apparently no one wanted to fall into the summer slump. thunder::tech saw a record Q3 in new and returning client work. This marketing work came in from all over the country, including additional clients in Michigan, Denver, Youngstown, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Northwest Ohio and Sacramento.

    We were thrilled to win new or substantial additional work from many clients, including reinforcing our core segments (industrial, automotive, food and destination). Some of these opportunities included:

    • Expanded marketing assignments from LePage, OSI and Loctite adhesive brands
    • Selection by USA Track & Field for a complete web overhaul to prepare for the run-up to the 2020 Olympics
    • Digital assignments for CloudCo (the company behind characters such as the Care Bears, Holly Hobbie, Buddy Thunderstruck and more)
    • Chosen by M1 Rail, the light rail transit system also known as the QLine in Detroit, for reworking its digital signage and alert systems
    • A regional tourism cooperative that awarded thunder::tech with an annual contract to reposition its region and overhaul its communications strategy
    • Industrial relationships with brands, such as Drake Manufacturing, Palmer Holland and Dengensha America

    The t::team also proudly published, mailed, took live and released multiple pieces of work to the world on behalf of our awesome clientele in the past couple of months:

    • An integrated marketing campaign for global industrial giant thyssenkrupp, introducing a new divisional name and positioning
    • A new website launch for consumer food brand Zee Zee's with a complex Netsuite integration
    • An integrated e-commerce solution for Meyer Products combining various inventory, parts and other back-office systems
    • A complete overhaul for Destination Cleveland's website with five systems integrated into its digital stack
    • A joint initiative with The Brookings Institution and The Kresge Foundation called Shared Prosperity
    • Completed advertising and brand work for the best-attended Enshrinement Week at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, celebrating the Hall's 56th class

    What a blast the summer of ‘18 has been! Thank you to our incredible t::team members who rolled up their sleeves while the beach was calling.
