ICYMI: Our Year in Review

If you can’t get enough of those end-of-year lists that recap everything that flew by in the last 12 months, you’re in luck. We have had quite a year to look back on and content you can’t go into 2020 without.


The must-have marketing tactic this year was by far video. Beyond the trends and shiny tools, our team shared the necessary strategy steps with a Hero, Hub, Help framework that B2B, B2C and every organization in between found critical for 2019. Having a strong video vision was step one. Knowing what to do with those videos was step two. So to help, our lead gen team created this handy YouTube Ad Guide so not a moment was passed up.

It’s not all about new and shiny though. We explored the in’s and out’s of traditional media buying trends and got back to the basics of creative. We all now know once and for all what pisses off designers. Heed thy warning.


Retail on social media is for more than just influencers, as 2019 taught us. And since you probably have at least one online shopping tab open right now, we bet you believe the advertising, email marketing and retargeting strategies were strong this year. Thanks to smart data analysts, you learned how to get your Google Tag Manager setup the right away and created some data-informed strategies to compete for shoppers too.

We took our podcast over the hill like a ‘90s sitcom flashback episode in our 100th podcast. We packed the whole team in the studio (okay, not all at once) to share their t::t story and look back on 20 years of great work, innovation and laughs.
