Web Developer/Programmer
We are looking for individuals interested in the data side of the web. Application developers, database architects, search engine specialists and programmers are wanted for our growing agency.
Duties for this position include:
- development of web applications and dynamic web sites
- design and management of databases
- assessment of current and potential projects from a technical point of view and provide input for cost and time estimates
- providing updates on the status of projects for both clients and management
- work in conjunction with various departments for the development of projects
- staying updated on current technological developments for potential use in the workplace
Applicants should be familiar with the following languages, software and concepts:
• .NET 2.0 / 3.5 Framework
• ASP.NET – VB.NET (Web Services, Web Controls, XML, HTML, CSS, JAVAScript, Session State and Application State)
• ADO.NET (Typed Datasets, XML conversion, LINQ)
• XML (Xpath, XSLT)
• MSSQL (Database normalization and working knowledge of stored procedures and triggers)
• Technical Writing (Create usable and accurate help files, write product documentation, read UML documents, and document process flows)
• Microsoft Certification and PHP experience is an added bonus
We are looking for individuals with at least three to four years of web development experience using ASP/ASP.NET and Object Oriented Programming with knowledge of N-Tier development and familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2005 or 2008.
