thunder::tech is seeking an Account Manager to join our Client Services Department (CSD). A successful Account Manager must be proactive and committed to building and managing lasting client relationships, and will be responsible for overseeing accounts that were previously in discovery with our Business Development Team. This talented individual will actively work with the agency's department managers and production teams to ensure client projects are moving along and deadlines are being met. This position requires a motivated, organized and team-oriented individual who is proactive and continuously willing to take on multiple projects and clients at any given time.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and extend client relationships
- Work with each client to establish target goals and objectives
- Day-to-day client relationship management
- Develop and execute on strategic recommendations
- Stay abreast of changes in markets and technologies to be able to analyze accounts
- Involved in brainstorming and troubleshooting processes, creativity and problem solving
- Motivate others and utilize negotiation skills as needed
- Work through a sales and farming process to pitch services that meet client needs
- Ability to give “color” to “black & white” situations to find a solution that works for both agency and client
- Critical thinker who can reframe client requests to provide solutions agnostic of medium

Expected Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related program
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing role
