thunder::tech is seeking an Account Manager to join our Client Services Department (CSD). The CSD is more than just day-to-day project coordination; we also provide account management, strategy, media buying and business development.

An Account Manager must be proactive and committed to building and managing lasting client relationships. Account Managers are responsible for overseeing accounts that were previously in discovery with our Business Development Team. The individual will also serve as a project manager, working with our department managers and production teams to ensure client projects are moving along and deadlines are being met. This position requires a motivated, organized and team-oriented individual who is proactive and continuously willing to take on multiple projects and clients at any time.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and extend client relationships
  • Work with each client to establish target goals and objectives
  • Day-to-day client relationship management
  • Develop and execute on strategic recommendations
  • Stay in alignment with changes in markets and technologies to be able to analyze accounts
  • Competent in brainstorming and troubleshooting processes
  • Motivate others and utilize negotiation skills as needed
  • Competent in the sales and farming process to pitch solutions to best serve the clients needs
  • Ability to give “color” to “black & white” situations to find a solution that works for both agency and client

Primary Qualifications:

  • Strong organization and time management skills are critical
  • A team-oriented individual who is motivated and an effective communicator
  • Competence to provide project direction to production team members
  • Ability to generate and present ideas
  • A deep understanding of client care
  • The capacity to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dexterity to manage several tasks at once

Expected Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related program
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing role  **Bonus points if you have agency experience
