How thunder::tech builds foundations with brand applications
For over 70 years, R.E. Warner has stood as a towering presence in enterprise-level engineering, laying down the blueprints for success and acting as the cornerstone of trust in constructing architectural solutions. However, despite their quality work and renowned reputation, the brand itself had grown outdated. R.E. Warner needed a structurally sound redesign to lift them to new heights.
Enter thunder::tech. Together, we set out to engineer a harmonious symphony of R.E. Warner's voice and image, reinforcing them with a sleek, new brand identity and engineer a groundbreaking transformation right from the very foundation up.
To begin the engagement, we collaborated with R.E. Warner to reinvent their brand identity with logo, messaging, color palette, typeface, and more. When designing, we looked to brighter, more engaging colors for a new logo that would be flexible across all of their marketing. thunder::tech’s logo design incorporated sleek symmetry with the conception of “The R.E. Angle” (see below) to provide a modern look.
Brand messaging was another vital factor in building a robust and cohesive brand identity. We crafted a new mission, vision and reason to believe messaging for R.E. Warner. The goal was to build upon the decades of experience R.E. Warner has building relationships with client partners in their industries of focus. With these intentional design and messaging choices, we reinvigorated the R.E. Warner brand in theory and practice.
We used these brand standards from the brand identity to redesign and develop the R.E. Warner website. Highlights of the project include the site's portfolio section, which gives users an easy way to see what relevant work R.E. Warner has done through a filtering system applied to pages across the site. An integration on the careers page provided ease of use for potential applicants. And the site’s interconnectedness brings the web journey to life, thanks in no small part to our user experience experts.
Our team also worked with R.E. Warner to update their creative collateral, including marketing assets like brochures, flyers, trade show signage, apparel, business cards, folders and more, to ensure brand standards stay consistent across all touchpoints. Our continued application of “the R.E. Angle” and other brand identifiers beyond the logo gave R.E. Warner the cohesive application they’d been missing.
