thunder::tech is seeking a full-time Application Developer Tier 1. Must have an interest in the data and server side of software development and website development.
The Development Department is responsible for day-to-day project production. In our department we have four mid-levels consisting of application development, front-end development, support and system operations (sysops). We work closely with all departments and make web-based ideas come to life. From software development to responsive design to CMS database integration, we pride ourselves on great work and innovation. This position requires a motivated, organized and team oriented individual who is proactive and has a desire to be the best at what they do.
Specific Responsibilities
- Development of architectures, applications and dynamic web sites
- Design and management of databases
- Assessment of current and potential projects from a technical point of view and provide input for cost and time estimates
- Providing updates on the status of projects for both clients and management
- Work in conjunction with various departments for the development of projects
- Staying updated on current technological developments for potential use in the workplace
- Presenting server side code to clients, training back end architecture upon execution
Primary Qualifications
- .NET Framework/ .NET Core
- #C, MS SQL
- MS SQL (Database normalization and working knowledge of stored procedures and triggers)
Expected Experience
- Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
- 1-3 Years experience building/maintaining websites that use industry standard content management systems (CMS)

- Sitecore
- 1-3 Years professional web development using Microsoft web-based technology
- .NET Framework/Core
- Object Oriented Programming
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, source control, CI/CD
