Graphic Design Internship

thunder::tech is seeking an enthusiastic graphic designer to join our Creative Department. We are looking for someone who understands  that the right color, the right angle and even the right pixel is imperative in making or breaking a design.

We expect people on our team to have a passion for great ideas and great design. We want people who are confident enough to speak up when they disagree with ideas—then impress us with theirs. People who base design decisions on experience, insight, best practices … and maybe a little bit of “it just felt right.” We don’t expect everyone to have a closet full of awards, but you should come to the table with a strong book that demonstrates your ability to create big ideas and bring them to life with booty-kicking design.

 

Primary Qualifications:

  • Strong conceptual skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Fireworks)


Expected Experience:

  • Fine arts, illustration, photography, video production
  • Print design
  • Digital design
 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Pitching in whenever and wherever needed
  • Active member of the team
  • Working on ideation, design and production of logos and identity systems
  • Collateral
  • Website design


Position requires 20-30 hours per week. Schedule and breakdown of hours by day can be determined on a case by case basis.
