Project Manager Position


thunder::tech is looking for a Project Manager that brings an organized approach to holding team members accountable on deadlines and tactics to drive to completion. This role lives within Account Services and works hand-in-hand with our account team to manage digital and website heavy projects. This person will focus on existing process with a keen eye for detail, a solid background in project management disciplines and a knack for compassionate communication to get projects done.

You would be working directly with assigned clients, department managers and production team members. This position requires a motivated, organized and team oriented individual who is proactive and continuously willing to take on multiple projects at any given time.

The Client Services Department (CSD) is responsible for day-to-day project management and coordination, relationship management, client growth and strategy. As an Account Manager, you would be coordinating daily efforts alongside other team members within the Client Services Department. You would be working directly with assigned clients, department managers and production team members.

Location: Cleveland-Akron area with the ability to be in the office 3 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday required).
 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day project management coordination
  • Work with the project team members to create project calendars, maintain project deliverables, timelines and ensure projects are completed on time
  • Monitor, execute and channel the appropriate communication between the different departments of thunder::tech
  • Analyze project needs holistically and approach each task as a piece of a larger puzzle
  • Manage multiple project schedules in conjunction with our product team leads to create a clear line of communication to our account services team. This can include updates on timing, calendars or resource allocation
  • Consult on project priority to alert both account services and production team members on upcoming issues based on scheduling complications
  • Provide regular updates in daily stand ups, regroup sessions or in one-on-one discussion in the thunder::tech project management platform. These updates will communicate as many details as possible to avoid client confusion or cost overruns
  • Encourage project management platform growth through recommendations to improve agency performance and profitability
 

Primary Qualifications:

  • Project management methodologies practiced
  • Deadline and timeline driven attitude
  • Ability to provide project direction to production team members
  • Experience with website builds and large projects with cross-team collaboration is highly sought after in this position
  • Excellent communication skills with an eye for long view thinking and coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and client demands in an busy agency environment
  • Superb planning and time management skills
 

Expected Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, project management or a related field
  • 3- 5 years of experience within an agency or project management focused environment
  • Website Development and Project Management is a plus
  • This position provides a market-competitive base salary between $60,000 and $70,000, with the final amount determined by the candidates' experience and qualifications
