The Application Developer (WordPress), Tier 1 plays a key role in building and maintaining engaging, high-performing websites powered by WordPress. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys creating custom themes and plugins while collaborating closely with design and content teams. You’ll help deliver scalable, user-friendly digital experiences that meet both client and business needs.
The Application Developer (WordPress), Tier 1 will be a part of the thunder::tech Development Department. The Development Department is responsible for day-to-day project production and is composed of four teams: application development, front-end development, digital support and systems operations (sysops). The Application Developer (WordPress), Tier 1 will work closely with designers, front-end developers and project managers on client projects and will report to the Senior Director of Development.
Location: Cleveland-Akron area with the ability to be in the office two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday).
