    The impact of COVID-19 has led to strange times for marketers. We’re seeing new paradigm shifts every day, and at thunder::tech, we are working hard to help you navigate its impact on your business.     For 21 years, thunder::tech has prided ourselves on our partnership mentality with our clients. From 9/11 and the Great Recession to the current COVID-19 crisis, we’ve been there to help clients weather each storm and build for the future so that they emerge stronger.

    What we’re doing

    At the start of the initial Adjustment Phase, March 16, our teams began working remotely and have settled in quickly. In addition to regularly scheduled work, we’ve been working long days helping clients:
    • Draft messaging to employees, customers and partners
    • Update notices on their websites
    • Adjust advertising schedules
    • Adjust editorial schedules for email, social and web publishing
    • Ideate on new promotional approaches
    Additionally, many clients have needed us to simply continue their normal campaign work. I’m proud to say that our production schedules have stayed on track during this time while our team has put in extra time to help those in need of quick responses.

    The Peak Phase

    As COVID-19 peaks over the next few weeks in the United States, some clients are pivoting their marketing approaches because of the effects on their industry, customer base or other demands. We are in the midst of:
    • Adjusting advertising on the fly to help citizens and brands react faster
    • Scaling website hosting infrastructure for those experiencing unusually high traffic
    • Adjusting clients to more online ordering and interactions with their customers
    • Working on expanded or new methods of demand generation
    • Helping sales team digitize their efforts
    thunder::tech is here for you if you need to pivot your business in any way during this peak period. If you’re looking to take advantage of consumer behavioral changes being shown during this time, we are also more than happy to discuss these areas of opportunity.

    The Recovery Phase

    As the economic impact and consumer behavior changes become more understood, thunder::tech is ready to assist clients to find new opportunities, adjust to a new normal and build their future. Some clients are already jumping into building a recovery plan. Wherever you are in the planning process, we stand ready when it’s right for you.
