    Our partnership with Kentico couldn’t be stronger.     Today we publish this piece to highlight our recent awards from Kentico, our client solutions and also some notable news from Kentico.

    The notable news from Kentico is that it has just released its much-anticipated version 12 (coined Raptor) and it also was named a Strong Performer by Forrester for Web Content Management for Q4 2018.

    And to top off that news, here are our 3 awarded sites and their respective months awarded in during Q4 2018.

    December: National Food Group,

    Since 1990, National Food Group has built lasting relationships with their customers by providing high-value, high-quality food products for a full range of meal patterns and budgets. Renowned for their expertise in the food industry, it was crucial to deliver NFG a mobile-friendly, creatively driven and innovative website that provided not just sales-supporting tools and features for the major B2B accounts, but also brand-building experiences. Although the performance and rules surrounding the NetSuite API were challenging, Kentico’s API and architecture allowed thunder::tech to creatively resolve problems and create a dynamic and optimized experience for the user and administrators.

    November: Crisis Prevention Institute:

    The Crisis Prevention Institute’s mission is to reduce the likelihood and severity of workplace violence incidents. The aim of their new website was to create a new user experience for both public and private users of the website. The prior site was aging infrastructure that no longer could accommodate their growth and plans for the future. At the beginning, it was challenging to connect Kentico to a custom legacy development in their former e-commerce platform. The upgrade was necessary and thunder::tech learned a lot about how to integrate custom code with standard out-of-the-box, Kentico. The website is built within the Kentico Portal Engine and is integrated with Marketo.

    October: Zee Zees:

    Since 1990, National Food Group has been partnering with primary and secondary schools across the US. Zee Zees was developed to provide healthier sweet options and in combination with favorite flavors and creative characters they can satisfy kids of all kinds—especially picky eaters. The goal of their new website is to reach all four major audiences: Food Service, Kids, Consumers, and Retailers. The aim was to develop the project on a flexible CMS that could allow developers and strategists to design logical and intuitive content strategies and layouts while also reducing much of the workload and management demands that were put on to the client’s creative team members.
