The Marc’s team wanted to establish their digital presence and develop their HR marketing strategies, so they turned to thunder::tech to make it happen. At the time of our engagement, the company was expanding and opening new stores around Ohio and needed to make the new locations known in their new neighborhoods. The opening of new stores also meant a search for new hires leading to an increased focus on HR marketing.
We determined that programmatic ads were the way to go when it came to online awareness, and with testing, we could expand on our efforts and stay up to date with changes happening in-store. In addition, social media platforms, such as TikTok, have been implemented to build a community around the brand, showing off what it is like working at a Marc’s store.
After discussing strategy options, our performance marketing team jumped into action, starting with an always-on campaign to highlight weekly and seasonal deals happening in-store. Positive results from the campaign led to adding new ones, including hiring campaigns, additional seasonal efforts and even more TikToks while also enhancing the originals.
