The Challenge

Reimaging a Century of Excellence

After 100 years in business, The AM Higley Company was ready for a transformation. Their name, brand and digital presence needed to reflect their evolved culture and the sophisticated work that defined their excellence. With their centennial on the horizon, they saw an opportunity to align their legacy with their future.

The goal was set: to reintroduce themselves as Higley Construction with a bold, modern identity that honored their roots while celebrating their growth and evolution.


The Solution

Crafting a Brand Built to Last

Higley partnered with thunder::tech to craft a rebrand as enduring as their legacy. Through collaborating with their team, we explored the company’s history, culture and vision to design a brand that matched their impact on the community. 

Our process began with interviews and surveys to uncover the essence of the company's identity, enabling our team to craft a look, feel and tone that captured their legacy and forward-thinking aspirations. We used this research to shape our approach in creating new logos, brand messaging, a 100th-anniversary video and a fresh website. 

The new logo evokes the feeling of forward and upward momentum, utilizing angles and design elements that tell the story of the brand.  It uses a color palette that is bold, yet soft intentionally signaling to the company’s community-driven mission.

For the 100th-anniversary video, we set out to deliver a story that didn’t just resonate during their centennial but served as long-term assets for their brand evolution. We paired archival photos with modern footage to seamlessly share their vision for the future of the company.  


The website builds on the video to push the brand forward. Supported by impactful visuals and motion, the website provides an engaging, professional digital home for the newly rebranded Higley Construction.
